It’s almost the Christmas Lights Switch-On!

Residents of Jackson Avenue, and Cumberland Close, please be aware that our festive lorries will be queuing up within your vicinity/location so that their parade can start from the top of the High Street. This will be for around an hour from around 5.30pm to 6.15pm tomorrow night (Saturday 29 November 2025) Thank you for your understanding and support

The High Street will be closed at both ends, allowing only authorised vehicles to pass. In case of an incident, Broseley Christmas Light stewards or Security stewards  will  use air horns to alert the audience and guide evacuation up or down the High Street.

Trained and qualified First Responders will be based at Habitat on Delphside. If your child gets lost, we’ll care for them there until you can reunite with them.

Yes, we will be delivering notices to residents affected by the High Street, (Jackson Avenue to Church Street), Fox Lane and Delphside road closures no later than 2 weeks before.

These roads will be closed from 1pm until 8pm

Our switch on event will conclude with our usual firework display. These will be between 6.30pm and 7.00pm

Anyone can join Broseley Christmas Lights. We are a very friendly, organised group with a passion to make the Christmas light switch on event special and memorable.
